Salads and bowls in Jaipur, ranked by protein and calories

All 116 salads and bowls on the live menus of eleven Jaipur kitchens on 13 October 2026, the most protein, the lightest and the most for the money, with estimated calories and protein.

By Vidit Jain and Milind Raj, foundersOur estimate

After "healthy", bowls and salads are what guests talk about most at both Green Feasts, and at Tap The Roots it is the paratha bowls. So we counted every salad and bowl on the menus: 116 at eleven kitchens, 110 of them vegetarian. They run from a 114 kcal garden salad to burrito bowls past 650, which is the first thing worth knowing: a bowl is a format, not a promise.

A snapshot of the live menus on 13 October 2026, prices as listed. Calories and protein are Harkara's estimates from each dish's name and description, not lab values, and dressings sold separately are not counted. The list that updates itself is the protein guide.

Who makes them

Tap The Roots has the most by far, mostly its paratha bowls, rice bowls and salad bowls. Both Green Feasts are built around them; Raja Park's homemade dressings come up by name in its reviews.

The most protein

Vegetarian, highest protein first. Cafe LazyMojo's chicken salads and bowls, the only meat on the list, reach 30 to 32 g; its Chicken Tikka Salad does it for 266 kcal.

The most for the money

Ten bowls give at least 15 g of protein for under ₹300. Nine are at Tap The Roots, its paratha and rice bowls from ₹199 to ₹299; the tenth is Ratio's Indo Bowl at ₹285. Tap The Roots' High-Protein Salad Bowl stands out: 26 g for 315 kcal.

The heavy end

The burrito bowls are the biggest: Ciro Co's at 586 to 658 kcal, Midori's Guilt Free Burrito Bowl at 652 and Red Coal's Mexican Rice Bowl at 624. They carry 16 to 28 g of protein, so they are a full meal, not a side. Rice, cheese and toppings add up.

Before you order

Ask for the dressing on the side if calories matter to you: a dressing poured on can add more than the greens under it, and the menus price some separately. What each kitchen cooks in and sweetens with is on its page, and in where to eat healthy in Jaipur.

Where the numbers come from. Kitchen answers are each restaurant's own, shown as declared; Harkara does not test or inspect. Calories and macros are our estimates per serving, not lab values. How we know explains each kind of fact.
