Where to eat healthy in Jaipur? Start with what the kitchen cooks in

Looking for healthy food in Jaipur? Eleven restaurants and cafes on 13 October 2026, by the oil, sweetener and flour each one declares, with two lighter, higher-protein plates from every menu, estimated calories and protein.

By Vidit Jain and Milind Raj, foundersAs declared

"Healthy" is what guests talk about most at Tap The Roots, both Green Feasts and Ratio, and "fresh" comes up at most of the kitchens here. It is also what people type when they look for healthy restaurants and cafes in Jaipur, and it means something different to everyone. So this note doesn't call any dish healthy. It shows the two things that decide how a plate is made, which are what the kitchen cooks with and what goes on the plate, and leaves the verdict to you.

A snapshot taken on 13 October 2026. What each kitchen cooks with is in its own words, from the 17 questions every restaurant on Harkara answers; calories and protein are Harkara's estimates from each dish's name and description, not lab values. The live versions are the cooking oil, sweeteners, dairy and protein guides.

The oil

Nine kitchens answered. Five cook in olive oil: Ciro Co (extra virgin), Green Feast, C-Scheme, Green Feast, Raja Park, Nuroh and Red Coal. Tap The Roots cooks in cold-pressed groundnut oil, Stack'D in refined rice bran oil, Oree Coffee & Kitchen says no palm oil, and Ratio says it is a no-oil kitchen.

Frying oil matters as much as the bottle it comes from. Of the eight that answered, four use it once (Ciro Co, both Green Feasts and Stack'D), Tap The Roots throws it out daily, Red Coal filters and reuses it for up to two days, Nuroh for up to a week, and Ratio has none to reuse.

The sweetener

Nine answered. Three sweeten with monk fruit: both Green Feasts and Ratio. Tap The Roots and Stack'D use honey only. Oree adds no refined sugar in-house. Nuroh uses honey, dates and condensed milk; Red Coal jaggery and white sugar; Ciro Co honey, dates, jaggery and refined sugar.

The flour

Eight answered. Both Green Feasts use whole wheat only, no maida. Oree and Tap The Roots have gluten-free options. Ratio uses 00 flour and khapli atta, Red Coal a mix of wheat and maida, and Ciro Co and Nuroh 00 pizza flour, wheat and maida.

Dairy and the freezer

Six of the nine that answered buy branded packaged dairy. Tap The Roots says organic certified, Ratio direct from a farm, Stack'D a local loose vendor. Six keep a minimal freezer (peas, corn, fries); Stack'D freezes essentials, and Ratio says zero freezer, everything fresh daily.

How to read this

The kitchens' answers are their own; we show them as given, and a question a kitchen skipped shows nothing. Cafe LazyMojo and Midori have not answered the oil and sweetener questions yet. Estimates are a guide for comparing dishes, not a nutrition label; portions and recipes vary, so ask the kitchen if a number matters to you.

Where the numbers come from. Kitchen answers are each restaurant's own, shown as declared; Harkara does not test or inspect. Calories and macros are our estimates per serving, not lab values. How we know explains each kind of fact.
