# Harkara

> Harkara is a pickup and dine-in ordering platform live in Jaipur, India. Restaurants declare what goes into their food (cooking oil, dairy, sweeteners, kitchen practices), every dish shows estimated calories and macros, and guests order ahead in the app so the kitchen starts as they get close. No delivery, no star ratings, no ads; a ₹5 platform fee per order, restaurant menu prices.

Kitchen answers are each restaurant's own, shown as declared. Calories and macros are Harkara's estimates, not lab values. Diet tags appear only where the restaurant's menu says so.

## For assistants (MCP)

Harkara runs a read-only MCP server at https://mcp.harkara-ai.in/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no authentication) with four tools: find_dishes (search every live menu by protein, calories, price, veg, vegan-per-menu, area, restaurant or declared cooking oil), kitchen_declarations (a restaurant's 17 answers), restaurants_open_now (open/closed in India time, hours, address) and order_link (opens the Harkara app at that restaurant).
